Tips and Tricks for the Cache Claimer Quest in Diablo 4
If you’re grinding through Diablo 4 and focusing on Season Journey progress, the Cache Claimer quest can be a bit frustrating due to its repetitive nature and the rarity of some caches. Here are some tips to help you complete it more efficiently.
First, understand that the caches you get from exchanging Grim Favors can be one of three types: Normal, Greater, or Ancestral. While Normal caches offer decent loot, Greater and Ancestral caches contain much better gear, with Ancestral being the best Diablo 4 gold.
To get Grim Favors, complete the bounties that the Tree of Whispers assigns. Once you have ten, head back to the Tree or visit a Raven in a major city to exchange them for caches.
If you need multiple caches of the same type to complete the quest, you don’t have to grind for each one separately. Thanks to a well-known trick, picking up one cache and repeatedly dropping and picking it back up will count as multiple caches toward your quest progress. This trick works for Normal, Greater, and even Ancestral caches.
Finally, remember that getting an Ancestral Cache requires some luck, as their drop rate is low and no pity system exists to guarantee them. Play on higher difficulty levels and keep trying, but be prepared for RNG to play a significant role.
With these pointers, the Cache Claimer quest can become much less of a chore and more of a rewarding part of your Diablo 4 journey Diablo 4 gear.
