Looking for a Master Therapist?
Paige Bartholomew, Licensed Psychotherapist

We’ll go exactly where love needs to go in you… filling the gaps together, drawing from ancient wisdom, and guiding you into a place where you no longer have to live as a victim of life, but as its co-creator.

The Next Conversation You Have Could Change Everything.

  • Have you ever wondered what it would it be like to feel utterly at home in your own life?
  • Have you wondered if the patterns running your life could truly be let go?
  • Have you wondered if life could, not just improve, but TRANSFORM?
  • Have you wondered if what binds you up could be your superpower?
  • Have you wondered if another version of you is waiting just beyond this one?

This is seasoned work.
The kind shaped by over 15 years in the trenches.
Sitting with people in the deep-end of the pool.
Showing up all the way.

There is SO Much Information Out There

The internet is overflowing with promises to help you heal. It can feel impossible to know what’s actually right for you.

If you already knew exactly what you needed, the choice would be simple. But most people don’t. They just know they’re hurting, unhappy, and ready for relief.

That’s where an ethical, experienced therapist can make all the difference. She can help you find the kind of care that actually meets you where you are — and takes you where you want to go. The consultation is where we find out if we’re the right match. If not, it’s my job to help guide you to someone who might be.

How to Choose the Right Therapist for You

Finding the right therapist is a deeply personal decision. Most therapists have checked all the same basic boxes: degrees, licenses, trainings. But the real difference is in how you feel with them… safe, understood, and genuinely supported.

You might start by asking yourself:

  • “Is Paige a good personality fit for me?”
  • “Does conversation flow easily between us?”
  • “Will she hold steady when the work gets intense?”
  • “Does she have the range to meet my pain and my potential?
  • “Even without knowing everything about how she works, does her approach spark my curiosity?
  • “Will her fees fit my budget?”

You may have other questions, too…about me, about the process, or about yourself. Jot them down, and we’ll go over them during your consultation.

The Past Doesn’t Get the Last Word Here

What is Attachment-Based Therapy?
We’re all wired for connection. It’s not just “nice-to-have” — it’s survival. Back in the 1960s, psychologist John Bowlby showed that children need at least one rock-solid person to feel safe with. When they have that, they can explore, take risks, and grow.

But a lot of us didn’t get that. Maybe your childhood was unpredictable, emotionally unsafe, or just… lonely. So now what? How do you heal from something you should have had all along?

One of the biggest ways is through safe, steady closeness with another person… even in adulthood. That’s why the bond between you and your therapist matters so much.

In therapy, the kind of friendship we’ll foster together isn’t the same thing as grabbing coffee with a friend. The whole focus is on you: your healing, your story. But I don’t stay behind a blank wall. I bring my personality into the room with us. I let you feel my warmth and humanness. Why do I do that? Because research and years of experience tell me this: when there’s real connection between therapist and client, the work goes deeper, and it works better.

Uncluttering the Shadows Within
We all have them. Old heartbreaks, betrayals, times when our trust was ripped apart. They don’t just fade. They live somewhere inside you, tucked away where you can’t see them, but you feel them. They show up in patterns you can’t break, that same story looping in the background, or an emotion that hijacks you out of nowhere.

I call these “shadows”. Not because they’re bad or evil, but because they’ve been hidden from awareness. Most of the time, your mind hid them on purpose. That’s what the subconscious does when it’s trying to keep you safe: it locks certain memories, feelings, and parts of yourself into sealed rooms so you can keep going. Your system’s first job is survival — and it will do whatever it takes to keep you safe. That can mean locking parts of you away or creating fierce protectors that no longer serve you in the world.

The trouble is, those parts are still alive in there. And when something pokes at them… a comment, a tone of voice, a familiar loss, they can take over. Suddenly you’re twelve again, or thirty-two again, feeling the same panic, rage, or grief like it’s happening right now.

What is Parts Work (a.k.a. Internal Family Systems)?
IFS is the most efficient and deepest work I’ve ever found. I use it with every client, and I also use it for my own healing. We knock on the door to your subconscious. We listen. We let those parts tell their story, sometimes for the very first time.

But here’s what makes IFS different: we don’t just talk about your parts from the outside, we let you meet them directly, in their own world. You get to see them, feel them, and have real conversations with them. That’s when the magic happens… because once they feel your presence, they don’t just soften, they start to trust you. And when that trust builds, the whole system begins to transform.

You’re not just along for the ride anymore, you’re the one holding the steering wheel.

The Way I Show Up for You
I give my clients more access than most therapists. Sessions are 65 minutes, not the standard 50. Here’s the thing: those extra minutes matter. Fifteen extra minutes each week adds up to a whole free hour every month. It’s time I give gladly, because real healing isn’t confined to a 50-minute box.

If something’s weighing on you, you can text me anytime — 24/7. And if you need an emergency check-in between sessions, we can hop on the phone as schedules permit.

I’m not a “by-the-book” therapist. People aren’t machines, and healing doesn’t happen on a stopwatch. We’ll find a rhythm that works for you. Learning to navigate this unique relationship together will be part of your healing.

Free Consultation

Let’s start with a free 30-minute phone consultation. I’ll listen, ask questions, and get a feel for what’s really going on. By the end, I’ll tell you what I think will serve you best — and sometimes, that might not be working with me. What matters most is that you get pointed in the right direction for you.

Beginning Our Work Together

Sessions are virtual
Should you prefer more face-to-face connection at first, we can start on FaceTime, then shift to phone as we move into trance work. Most of my clients end up loving phone therapy. There’s something about being in your own quiet, comfortable space that lets you sink into the work without distraction. And of course, no traffic, no rushing… just you, in your own home, ready to drop in fully.

Weekly sessions
We’ll meet once a week so the work can stay connected and build on itself. Weekly sessions give us the momentum we need for deep change… anything less, and we risk losing that thread.

Nothing Gets Lost Here
When you talk, I’m noticing the patterns between what you say today and what you’ve shared in the past. It’s one of my gifts: catching the emotions that might just barely flicker underneath your words, and tracking the way your body responds in real time. Holding a lot of emotional information at once and weaving it into a clear, connected picture is one of my core strengths as a therapist. This way of working is rare. Most therapy focuses on the moment in front of you. I’m listening across moments: tracing the threads, the symbols, and the way they echo through your story.

Your subconscious gives us clues: sometimes in images or memories. Sometimes through a feeling in your chest or a knot in your stomach. Sometimes in sensations you can’t quite name. Over time, I’ll help you learn to read that language yourself, so you can hear your own soul more clearly — and trust it.
