The core way to generate money with the Garment Factory is through a series of robbery missions called "FIB Files" or simply "files." One mission is marked as "high priority," paying roughly double the standard $150,000 reward, sometimes exceeding $300,000 per run. Completing bonus objectives during these missions can yield additional cash rewards, making them highly lucrative.

In addition to active missions, the factory generates passive income. Workers upstairs manufacture garments that produce steady earnings over time, ranging from $15 to about $1,800 every 48 minutes. Although this passive income is the lowest among GTA Online businesses, it accumulates quietly as players engage in other activities, potentially recouping the initial investment over weeks of gameplay.

The Garment Factory includes a 10-car garage in the basement with an elevator, allowing players to store and quickly access vehicles. It also features a fast travel system connecting to five different city locations, enabling quick movement across the map, though this fast travel cannot be used during missions.

A major highlight is the exclusive upgrades available for the Terrorbyte vehicle when stored in the factory. These include:
1. Master Control Terminal: Lets players manage almost all their businesses remotely from the Terrorbyte.
2. Missile Lock-On Jammer: Protects the Terrorbyte from missile attacks.
3. Silent Running Module: Makes the vehicle undetectable on the radar.
